Welcome to new member: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the International Training Institute for Materials Science (ITIMS), Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Senior Researcher, with many years of experience in teaching and research at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
He has contributed to the e-book “Top 5 Contributions in Materials Science” published by Avid Science Publishing and has authored more than 30 scientific papers indexed in ISI/Scopus, along with numerous other publications in national specialized journals.
His current research interests include:
❖ Physics and technology of magnetic sensor structures based on spin valves and various magnetic heterojunction (MHJ) nanostructures.
❖ Spin-dependent magnetotransport and magnetic coupling/interactions in MHJ-type magnetic nanostructures/materials. These include phenomena such as giant magnetoresistance (GMR), tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR), magnetic Coulomb/spin blockade, multimodal electrical conduction behavior in Mott–Efros–Shklovskii (MES)-type magneto-dielectric systems, exchange-bias coupling, and opto-spin interactions — forming the basis for spin-plasmonics applications.
❖ Solid-state thin film fabrication techniques using physical vapor deposition (PVD) methods.
