Research Directions
Ongoing Research Areas:
a) Theoretical and experimental studies on atomic impurity doping in semiconductors (single and multi-component): diffusion, ion implantation, simulation, and numerical solutions of parabolic equations.
b) Physics and technology of micro- and nano-electronics, with applications in the fabrication of semiconductor device materials, sensors, and solar cells.
c) Electronics/Radio Physics: theoretical research on hyperbolic wave equations and experimental fabrication of high-power microwave beam transmission systems between two ground-based points.
Planned Research Areas with Potential for Collaboration (within ITAR and with external partners):
a) Research on the fabrication of functional nanomaterials (e.g., GeO₂ nanowires, Ga₂O₃, Au nanoparticles, TiO₂, nanocrystals) using physico-chemical methods (VLS, sputtering, etc.), and their applications in prototype devices such as sensors and plasmonic solar cells based on multilayer structures (Glass/FTO/a-Si/Au NPs/Au@TiO₂/.../PEDOT:PSS/Pt/FTO/Glass).
b) Electronics/Radio Physics: further studies on high-power microwave beam transmission from GEO satellites to Earth, and analysis of experimental results on high-power beam transmission between two terrestrial points for applications in both civilian and national security contexts.
c) Collaborative research on wireless sensor devices, integrated with radio transceiver systems and dedicated software, for IoT applications in environmental monitoring.
